Our mission is simple yet profound: to empower elementary school students with the tools to become confident readers, while fostering a love for stories that reflect the rich tapestry of human experience. Through our interactive and engaging platform, Litzi opens the door to multicultural tales that captivate young minds and broaden horizons.
Who Are We?
The Litzi team is made up of educators, software developers and (more importantly) parents who want to change the way our children learn to read and improve their reading outcomes.
Our Story
Our founder has a mixed family, with a daughter who has an East African background. During primary school, she encountered a wide range of readers and books at school - but all were based on western characters in western settings.
These types of stories do not always resonate with children, especially in our multi-cultural world, so he decided to create Litzi!
What is Litzi?
